We had the great opportunity to sit down and chat with Greg Geny, CEO and Co-Founder of BRB Travel. If you don’t know who BRB Travel are, get to know now. They are revolutionising booking trips as we know it and have even been branded as ‘The Netflix of Travel’. For £50 a month, you get 3 European trips a year all planned for you. If you are anything like us and are always looking forward to the next trip then this is the answer to what you never knew you needed!
For details on our chat with Greg, make sure you check out our story highlight on Instagram here – but for now here’s 4 reasons why you need to subscribe to BRB:
1. You’re in the mood for three cheeky surprise trips a year
Everybody loves a surprise, right? We do! After all, Flights and Feelings started when Abi gifted Lulu a surprise trip to Milan for her birthday. With BRB Travel, you don’t find out where you are going until a month before you fly! Of course beforehand, you are able to set preferences such as removing locations you have already visited or don’t want to go to. You can also choose the type of trip you want (i.e. cultural, romantic, foodie or our personal fave – #4TheGram). You also get to set your local airport and desired flight times so that you don’t end up having to travel miles just to get your flight in the offensive hours of the morning. Trips will always be 3 calendar days so you could leave Friday and come back Sunday which means you won’t be running out of annual leave any time soon!

2. There’s no such thing as “peak season”
One of our pet peeves are flights that are £40 on one day and £40,000 the next! Or when a trip costs £150 in October but the same trip will cost £1.5m in August. With BRB, you pay a set cost of £50 a month and this is the same whether you travel on a weekday or weekend, winter or summer months, off peak or peak and even if you go solo or with others – the price is always £50 per month! If that doesn’t scream ‘sign up’ then I don’t know what does.
3. Group travel isn’t a headache
Anybody else start planning a trip and you have about fifteen people who are ‘definitely interested’ until it’s time to book? Then there’s only of two of you ready to go, maximum three? Yeah, us too! That ends with BRB as friends can join your trip with the simple share of a link. There are no arguments about the destination, or accommodation or flight times as all is agreed at the trip set up!
Also, nobody has the mammoth job of booking everything and then waiting for people to pay them back. BRB facilitates all the payments, so you don’t have to throw shade at your mate for not paying you back on time! It’s between them, their bank account, BRB and God. and your friendship stays intact – yay!
4. You can save money on your subscription (and earn credit, too!)

This sounds intriguing – I’m definitely interested and will be sure to use your link if I sign up. It’s good to know you can set some parameters ahead of time so the surprise is a good kind of surprise.
Brilliant! We can’t wait to report back on our first trip in November. And yep, having some control of the surprise is a definitely plus! 😂
