Awesome detail. I wanted to try it but my skin is so sensitive and scared to try something new that might not agree. But you are glowing and radiant
Thank you Tendai! If you are keen, you can try the starters set which gives you mini’s so you can give it a try before investing in full sized products. I’d love to know how you get on! x
Lovely, you’re glowing Abz!!
Thank you so much my love!
Love this review – very informative. Might have to try these myself! Thanks!
If you do decide to go ahead, I’d love to know how you get on. Keep me posted x
The melanin. The spread. The aesthetics. The slay. Everything about this just screams luxury and I’m so here for it!!! Fantastic post ladies – you have definitely inspired my next luxury picnic.
Iceland is on my list too, glad you had a good time despite the scary drive. The driver should definitely fill up the petrol though.
Some good tips there and I love the photos! Can’t wait to hear more about the trip.
Loool at the ‘don’t pack meat and say Lulu told you so’ 😂. These are great tips and I hear noodles for dinner is common for many that travel to Iceland so we can all make it work! Also a fan of private rooms on AirBnb if money is tight but I still wanna enjoy! Thanks xxxx
India Sounds so exciting
1. Obviously they show respect because they serve linguine
2. Well done for trying the food so proud of you.
3. The massage sounds amazing
LOL i am a real lover of pasta, and that’s facts. The food situation was definitely out of my comfort zone but I told myself to just try everything. The massage was amazing, my back and feet really feel better for it.
Very proud of you for trying new food! India isn’t on my bucket list either but I’d definitely like to go one day! Thanks for sharing X
Trust me, I really stepped out of my comfort zone with the food. But it was worth it – especially the fresh naan bread with butter.
India is lit yeh?
It really is. Very much like Lagos where if you know the spots, you will have a great time.
Abi, how did you find it as a black woman? (You mentioned people staring). I’m not sure I want to go to Mumbai, but my interest in Goa has definitely peaked a bit! x
Very good question. I didn’t have any issues at all, I was treated really well especially in the hotel. I did use Uber (which was really cheap by the way) and I didn’t have any problems. The only thing was the staring and i had some kids that wanted to take pictures with me at the Gateway. But the staring didn’t feel like it was because of ill-intent, it just felt like they saw someone different and were amazed by me which I can understand. And have you seen me? If i was them, I would be amazed too!! LOL
I want to go!!
Do it! Its worth it for sure!
*I’m just here for the pancakes* 😝
Its worth the trip just for the pancakes!
Love this . Great travel tips for Amsterdam of all the tasty and fun spots 🙂 xx
Great post 😁
Ahaha as much as I do too much on holiday, I love how there is something for everyone here! Not everyday leave your mate in bed while you do the most 😂👌🏾 xxx
Lol see a sex show 😂 but it’s to be expected in Dam! That pancake place is a definite when I go! And I love a good cocktail bar abroad so yes to Lost! Thanks for sharing xxx
Yes definitely do the pancakes and Lost. The sex show is not for the faint hearted at allllllll LOL
Great tips Abs!! I refuse to wrap my mind around the sex show 😭😭 the pancakes look amazing!!
Sissss you ain’t the only one refusing. They looked about as interested as people sitting at their desks, as in, it really is just their day job. But then again, on rotation all day long, I would be fed up too! Pancakes were lit!
Some good tips Abz! Looks like you had fun, I’m ready to try some of these places out.
It really was good fun! and its only 45 mins away by plane, it takes me longer to get to work!
I want to eat those pancakes….So there was no pasta on the menu or linguine….how DARE they hahaha…. they are rude. Great write up
Oh sis, you should know me well! I definitely went to Vapiano in Amsterdam. I had to get my fix haha!
This is fab. I want to visit Amsterdam just for the pancakes!
They really were worth it! Its pancake day all year around in Amsterdam!
Sometimes it’s even nice to sleep….hahahahaha.
The water slide was life.. as you know ‘ I Loved it…it was like 🤗🤗🤗’
Honestly, sometimes a bit of sleep is nice 😂
And LOOOL! 😂😂😂 the memories will never fade on that one! Thanks for reading, J. #TooMuchBeyonceHere x
👏I love a food hall.
But Abi and I did find a lit rooftop bar whilst people were on the Segway tour in Madrid 😜
Haha! And people definitely enjoyed the Segway tour! Thanks for reading, Nadz xx
Your posts never fail to make me chuckle ladies! You’ve covered all angles for group trip activities. Funny you mention concerts as it is not an activity that would’ve crossed my mind to do abroad (only in the UK) – and I’m sure it would be a GOOD VIBE! *adds to list*
Thanks for reading, Temi! Concerts are definitely the way forward! Hope you’re able to make one part of your itinerary soon x
Girl what a trip !!! You had some experiences to say the least .
It was A LOT! 😂 but it was still a beautiful trip so I’m grateful! Thanks for reading Tahai xx
Sounds like a blast…you had me at food hall 🤗
Love a cheeky food hall 🤤! Thanks for reading J x
I definitely would have been kidnapped in Malta if not for my girls…..safety in numbers hahahahaha.
We honestly thank God for common sense in that situation 😭 could have been a different story 😅 #safetyinnumbers
The squad really is lit! 🔥
Too lit! 🔥
Spare your roommate the acoustics of your activity…this cracked me up, sorry about the bathroom. I do love Porto though!
It was a unique set up! 😂 Porto is super cuteee. Thanks for reading Nadz x
So…how were you unsuccessfully pick-pocketed please? I need the full details! Lol. Also….5am until 4pm locked out?! Whew chile I would’ve lost my rag!
I felt a hand slip into my coat pocket when I had actively made the decision to not keep my phone there, but in my cross body bag instead! Haha, those hours without the key were some testing times… Thanks for reading! x
Whoa! I’ve had luggage go missing and that was pretty traumatic 🥴 glad you still had a great time!
We had no choice but to continue to enjoy! I didn’t fly all that way to cry 🙂 x

This is on my 2020 travel list now but I need to know how steep that mountain is before I bypass the cable car!!!
Haha! You can go early and take the day to climb it… there are steep parts but if I could do it you definitely can! Lulu x
This has made me really want to visit Cape Town. Need to get my coins up first!!
You mainly need flight money – spending out there and accommodation is really affordable, the exchange rate is so, so good!
I am heading back to New York in June and for the first time we are staying in Brooklyn. I like the look of Dekalb Market Hall so we will definitely have to try that out. I hear that Brooklyn is the new place to be, so I’m super keen to check it out for a few days. Safe travels ladies! x
Ooooh we so wish we had a return trip planned, too! Hope you have an amazing time, Shelley 🙂 x
Omg this has got me so excited. Saving this for when I go at the end of this year.

Oh my gosh I loved this!! The next time I go to Nigeria I want it to look the fun scenes from a movie vs visiting family and sitting down doing nothing! Loved these, makes me want to go back very soon! Please keep these coming! X
Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed it! The major key for Lagos is to stay in a hotel on the Island – you will enjoy!
Great Post. Invaluable tips! Never really considered some of these, in particular medicine as in some countries you may not be able to buy them because you haven’t been prescribed by a doctor
Thanks for reading Rico! Medicine is an interesting one. We have Tokyo coming up next year and there are some important things to read about what medication you can and can’t take to Japan so it deffo needs some detailed looking into for every trip!
this is great, definitely gonna check out the castle and the GoCar Tour when i’m in Porto
Saw this just in time before I start to pack for my next trip, thank guys!
i’m gonna share the checklist with my friends.
I’ve never thought of packing my carry in this way. As you always think that your luggage will end up on the other side. I will be on the ball for my next trip.
Thanks sisters
Jenna

We never thought about it until it was too late! Happy packing, beautiful! X
Hi my travel sisters. Thank you for this. I’ve had my fair share of delays but nothing like what Lulu experienced. This post is very informative because I would’nt know where to start if this had happened to me.
I hope you get those coins back sis because what a disaster!!
Love Ya…Jenna xoxo
Glad you found it useful, Jenna! I can confirm that the coins were indeed retrieved! ☺️ xxx
Great tips and thank you for sharing. I do agree comfortable shoes are a big must!
Honestly, the last thing you need is for your trip to be slowed down because your feet are hurting. Thanks for reading! X
This sounds intriguing – I’m definitely interested and will be sure to use your link if I sign up. It’s good to know you can set some parameters ahead of time so the surprise is a good kind of surprise.
Brilliant! We can’t wait to report back on our first trip in November. And yep, having some control of the surprise is a definitely plus! 😂
Hmmmm……. now I really wanna go there too. You make seem like fun Lulu! Love your blogs….. eye-opening and cheeky too 😜
You will have a lovely time if you go, for sure. Haha, hopefully not too cheeky!? Thanks for reading! ☺️
I’ve actually never been to Germany but this has tempted me!
Nuremberg may see me soon…
Elle

Thanks for reading Elle! It’s a lovely little city, and so quick to get to from London! You should definitely go. I’m curious to know what it’s like at Christmas time, too – with all the markets! X
You are actually very good at this! Am pleasantly surprised! You should have taken journalism as a profession? Write a book please!
Thanks for reading! Maybe a book will be in the works soon ☺️
Absolutely loved this piece! I’m so glad that you broke down New York into areas, but I’m always stumped on how to take it on , but this helps alot! Pictures are great as usual 😉 And now I need to listen to the podcast that you featured on… Lozzah’s Thoughts xo
It looks like the most beautiful place! and your girl gang looks so fun – It must be great being able to travel with so many friends! Definitely bookmarked for a future trip to Porto.
Jess xx

Elle

Haha, so key! We wouldn’t take anything back though. It was definitely better than just another ordinary Saturday in South London! x
Love your logo and transparency! Vlogging and Blogging require a lot of effort – really love your content keep up the great work! P.s when I’m launching a business you guys are doing my logo 😁 X
Thanks so much, Tola! Haha! We’ll see what we can do 😉 x
Loved this Ladies! I’ve done a day trip to Paris before but I’m with you I prefer overnights! Thanks for sharing x
Thanks Tola! Totally agree – staying the night is great. You get a chance to rest, plus waking up in a beautifully decorated room, with a gorgeous new view from your window? Yes please! x
I’ve never been to Madrid but loved reading this post!
And your pictures are beautiful as well xx
Hey Anaïs, thanks so much and thank you for checking out our post! We hope you’ll have a better time in Madrid than we did when or if you plan to go 🙂
I’m about to live 6 months in the south of Spain so hopefully I’ll go visit Madrid at some point haha!
Ahh amazing! Are you moving to study? We know someone out there currently – Annabel! (Woman In Transit). You should check out her blog post. She’s not in the South but you might still find it interesting! : https://buff.ly/2X8GPH5 all the best with the move! 💕🇪🇸
No, I’ll be working as a kid’s rep in a hotel 🙂 Oh yay, thanks!
Wow so Iceland isn’t a spontaneous place to just go to lmao! I really want to go this year or the next and this is the first guide I’ve read which actually prepares you for it. The prices I knew about though…£42 for 2 people in KFC?! DEAD😂
Jess (@road2culturedom) Xxx
Jess Jess! Haha! SPONTANEOUS!? Not at all! I booked this 5 months in advance and still couldn’t get it together! Honestly, when I was told that price I took my butt to Lidl straight away. There was no way I was going to enter financial ruin just to eat in Iceland!
Haha I dont think I could cope with the “egg” smell, always wanted to see the northern lights but not that much, I’d rather just look at a picture on Google 😅
Haha! Honestly, you end up getting used to the smell and it’s not always super strong. Funnily enough, I shared an Uber pool with an Icelander this week; he told me the lights are super faint and don’t show up for very long. I still want to see them though!
I’m going to Iceland soon! This post was so helpful!!
Miss Estrella Drifts! Thanks for reading, so glad it was useful! When do you go? I’m hoping to write two more Iceland posts soon x
First of all 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 This is such a well written, funny and detailed note of visiting Iceland! I’m now much more prepared for when I eventually visit (trainers will definitely be left at home).
Also, can we talk about the £570 for the ride to see the crashed US Navy plane?!!! loooooool God gave me legs for a reason.
Thank youuuu for reading, super happy its helpful! Honestly, trainers will not survive. If you love them, you’ll definitely leave them lol.
Girl, its just not worth it! Not quite £570 looool, but it might as well have been. You just need to enjoy the fresh air as you 10 toes it for that plane pic!
Great post 😁
